Tuesday 25th March - walks *** – Around Felixstowe – sunny start then cloudy with light winds.

Walk 1 – Sunrise prom with Mag.

I wanted to get up around 5 this morning to see if we were in for a decent sunrise as irt was supposed to quickly cloud over so when we both woke at 4.30 we got up at 5 and walked down to the seafront at the end of our road! It was lovely being out so early but a tad chilly, luckily the wind was very light but it it not look good for a nice sunrise with not many clouds and a bank of haze out to see. We turned left and ambled to Jacobs Ladder with a little red in the sky! There was a few joggers and dog walkers out and by the time we had returned to The Fludyers there was a red ball in the sky so we stopped to watch and got a cool selfie pic of the two of us. Then back through the Spa Gardens and we were pleased to get home to warm up with a hot water bottle with toast in bed:) I then did my exercises while Mag potted some of her baby plants and put then outside in the cold frame!

Walk 2 – Around Felixstowe then cuppa with Mary.

Then after a snacky lunch of crackers and brie and being a Tuesday, we walk to the cliff top and back through the town before having a cuppa with Mary. So in the end we walked nearly four miles today, looking like there will be more sunshine tomorrow, fingers crossed!
